Reviews of At Reception

The reviews of At Reception reflect readers tastes, and some are outstandingly good. At Reception is written in first person, only from Sally's perspective. You get to read her thoughts as well as what she says. This makes her seem more negative in attitude than a person from the outside would normally appear. As a consequence, as I say in the author's note after the novel, you probably won't like Sally. You most likely never get to know everything even your closest friends think, and that's probably a good thing!
